Bee hive for a busy bee

Maybe it's my Mums fault for exposing me to too much Coronation Street as a kid, but whether it was Bet Lynch's signature do or the more iconic dusty Springfield, I love the classic beehive!

Admittedly a 'little' high maintenance but for a high glam look with a nod to the swinging sixties it makes a fab up or half-up do!

Here's a few of my faves...

White Noise

My inner hippy chick just can't get enough bold, colourful ethnic furniture and accessories but they can easily become overpowering and clutter a space.

Crisp white walls provide a brilliant backdrop to show off character pieces as these images demonstrate. By balancing out fussy prints and clashing colours, white space adds light and simplicity, thus allowing your statement pieces to speak for themselves.

Picture this

I have hundreds of photos I want to display but every time I buy a new frame, choosing which picture to use is such a head ache!

While theres no denying that lots of small frames look great together, I don't fancy all the holes in my walls... Not to mention the time it would take to hang, which I just don't have. Therefore these large frames would work a treat!

I can't find any for sale with a mount so guess I would need to either get one custom made or make the mount myself.

Pin-Up Girls

If like me the thought of baring all on the beach or by the pool in just a month or two fills you with dread.. Take a look at these beautiful retro inspired swimwear pieces.

Inspired by the 50's pin up style these super glam bikinis are ultra flattering and feminine.

For these three pieces check out; Urban Outfitters, Mod Cloth and Tom & Lorenzo.

Tribal Style

We may have had the wettest spring on record but a girl can dream... And these tribal inspired prints have certainly got my dreaming of hotter and more exotic climes!
